Senior/Environmental Health Officer (BF5097 & BF5098)

We are excited to share a new opportunities for CIEH Registered Environmental Health Officers and Senior Officers in West London, focusing on Food and Health & Safety (and infectious disease control) enforcement.

In this role, you will take ownership of a wide range of enforcement casework, applying your expertise to ensure compliance with the Food Act and the Health and Safety at Work Act. You will also manage complex correspondence and maintain clear, timely records, supporting the Council’s objectives and service standards.

This is a full-time hybrid position (36 hours per week), with most work conducted remotely and occasional attendance at the office or on-site locations.

Candidate requirements:

• Competency in Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4)
• At least 10 hours of Food Core CPD as specified in the current Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance
• Relevant qualifications, CPD certificates, and registration with EHORB/EHRB (or equivalent)

The role will be hourly-paid, and Buckingham Futures will require documentation of qualifications and registration before the contract begins.
