We have partnered with a Local Authority based in Essex hiring for multiple Building Control roles available, from Inspectors to Team Leaders/Principal Inspectors, offering opportunities to handle a range of cases, develop your skills, and contribute to a modern, responsive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support high-risk, complex Building Control cases, depending on experience.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to colleagues.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and internal teams to ensure safety, quality, and innovation.
- Contribute to a high-performing, accountable team culture.
Who We’re Looking For
- Qualified RBI (Class 2D+) with relevant Building Control experience.
- Sound technical judgement and confidence to guide others (for senior roles).
- Supportive, mentoring approach to leadership (for management roles).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Calm, solutions-focused mindset.
