Buckingham Futures is currently recruiting Principal Street Scene Officer for a client in the East Midlands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in your local community by improving the quality, safety, and appearance of the environment.

As a Street Scene Officer, you will investigate and enforce environmental regulations, tackling issues such as:

Fly-tipping
Dog fouling
Littering
Abandoned vehicles
Illegal street trading
Graffiti and vandalism
Fly-posting and other enviro-crimes

The role involves a combination of education and enforcement, encouraging positive behavior among individuals and businesses, while taking action against those committing offences.

Requirements:

Previous experience in environmental enforcement or a similar role is preferred
Ability to investigate and manage environmental offences effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Rate is negotiable depending on experience.
