Buckingham Futures is looking for experienced professionals to join an exciting project in partnership with our local authority client in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a project basis.

The role includes:

Carrying out selective licensing inspections
Completing Health and Housing Risk Assessments (HHSRS)
Issuing schedules of works where required
Conducting follow-up inspections to ensure work is completed
Recording and reporting inspections accurately and on time

We are looking for candidates who:

Hold relevant qualifications with proven experience in residential property inspections or environmental health
Are confident and competent in conducting inspections independently
Are detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate, high-quality reports
Have strong communication skills to engage effectively with property owners and council representatives
Have experience in private sector housing enforcement
Are knowledgeable about HMO licensing and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
