Buckingham Futures are recruiting for a Food Safety Consultant on behalf of our private sector client in South Wales.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide businesses with every aspect of food safety from practical advice all the way through to implementing the right food safety procedures and policies
- Develop, implement, monitor and review health and safety strategies, policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices
- Carrying out workplace inspections and implementing any actions or improvements required

In order to be considered for this role Buckingham Futures are looking for an individual with the below attributes:
- Experience of working with relevant legislation, in a related area and in a local authority
- Diploma/Degree in Environmental Health as recognised by the chartered Institute of Environmental Health Officers Education Board or Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection
- Hold registration by the Environmental Health Registration Board
- Experience in food control or health and safety work gained in the last 3 years
- Knowledge of current issues in food control, health and safety and current issues in infectious diseases
- Full drivers’ license
